Veternet Redesign
Veternet is a social networking site based on the Pringo platform focused on allowing pet professionals and pet owners to connect. The site design, however, was cluttered and wasn’t facilitating participation in the community.
Redesigning a mature and active site like Veternet presents a lot of unique challenges. There was a lot of information to organize and present, new views to code, and a staggering array of pages to template.
Despite the challenges, I was able to refresh the design and make it cleaner and modern, while at the same time boosting site speed 60% across the board.

Super M Music Group Website
Upstart indie rock label Super M wanted a website that was cool, edgy, modern, ready-to-rock, and—for reasons that remain largely mysterious—incorporated Western elements.
While it wouldn’t be a stretch to say that I was initially skeptical, I think the website turned out great, successfully blending the disparate styles.

As small farm competing against much larger produce distributors for restaurant sales, DEVine Gardens owner Kirk Hayes recognized the need for a web strong presence. I tried to keep the look consistent with the community-rooted character of the business. DEVine Gardens is a fellow member of Sustainable Connections, and it’s been great experience working with them.

QB Pub & Eatery Website
I was called in to revamp an outdated website for the QB Pub in Bellingham. The old site was poorly organized, and didn’t meet the establishment’s changing style.
With the new design, I made sure that key information including operating hours, location, and phone number appeared on every page, with the front page serving as an at-a-glance guide for the pub’s offerings and daily events.
